My hot take for the day.  

When I was going for my powerbadge I was replying to 1000 casts a day for a few weeks and posting 3-5 photos a day for 4 months straight.  

I am here to support people, but more and more it seems like people feel entitled to it without doing anything 

It’s never been easy to get one.  Dont expect to be handed one without putting in the work.  

When was the last time you replied to 500 casts in a day across 10+ channels?

If you want to be seen reply, it’s always been the secret to this platform yet it’s so easy nobody believes it.

Replies literally are the secret key to FC indeed. I arrived here thanks for BFG so I knew to join /replyguys and get into replies. I received my PB on my 2nd Tuesday here (like 10 days on the platform) and have kept it since by being a replyguy. 

I try to remind people in the channel of that too, we can do our best to help, but it really does require some effort every day of the week to earn it, and likely even more required the next week to not fall victim when x% that week lose badges.

Thanks fam! At the time I didn't think anything of it, I really didn't even know what it was tbh, but in hindsight it's pretty crazy when I'm watching people bust ass to try and get them now. 

Now it's about trying to pay it forward!
