Anyone read this? Just picked up a copy to see if I can improve myself a bit. Unmedicated ADHD - along with some other mental/physical issues from military life - leave me pretty unorganized and often procrastinating. I know just reading a book won’t solve it all and I’ll still have to take a lot of action, but it’s a start. Surprise visit from the kitten too! πŸ˜‚

Sounds like you and I have nearly identical brains then lol, so trust me when I say I know exactly what you mean! While I was finishing my military career I had an Occupational Therapist to help with my ADHD and while she gave me all of the best info possible, it's not enough for someone like us. I just have the info in piles, or saved on my computer where I've pretty much never looked at any of it. If it's outside of my daily routine, or isn't dopamine inducing for me, I'm probably not doing it. It's so bad, but I'll give the book a try and see if it can even help me push forward a few inches! πŸ’œ

Oh my, I felt every single word of that.. I'm like the queen of screenshot for later. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ I was diagnosed after my oldest was like 3 years ago. And looking back on my life, holy fuck so much clarity was amassed from realizing I'm not just broken. I wondered for most of my life., like wtf is wrong with. Why is being a person SO FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE. ADHD. Lol but again attending seminars and reading and researching only does so much in brains like ours. Side question. What's your relationship with laundry like? Lol
