in 2017 in preparation for the bitcoin cash fork i pulled so much BTC off coinbase that it drained their hotwallet several times and broke the send/receive functionality for ~10 million users for about 2-3 hours

haha that's amazing. i once made a ton of money posting my Refer a friend links to RetailMeNot.com. In December 2008 I wrote a script that scaled it up 1,000x and posted in one day more coupon codes than they had ever received from their users in the history of their site. Site went down for 4 hours.
