for those with friends affected by the LA fires: they're not okay. they're not holding up well. don't text them questions that make them explain their trauma. instead, just send love and offer concrete help: 'I can watch the kids' or 'I'm dropping off dinner tomorrow'

well said, “empty” questions can make ppl feel guilty about not replying, concrete help or just saying you care about them is really thoughtful outreach 🫶🏻
