partner and I argued in front of the kids a bit the other night. nothing too serious but we definitely yelled at eachother. so tricky finding the right balance between living authentically and giving them a strong sense of stability in our relationship. apologized to them, but still feeling a bit guilty about it.

You did a good job, apologizing them! In fact, it could be an important lesson teaching them responsibility and how to handle negative emotions. Of course yelling is not ok, but apologizing determined who you really are.
