🎨 COLOUR CHRONICLES:"Daily dose of colours "🎨 Day 7: INDIGO History & Origin: Indigo is named after the Indigofera plant, from which natural indigo dye is derived. The name traces back to the Latin word indicum, meaning "from India," where the dye was historically produced and traded. It has been used in textiles for thousands of years and was highly valued in ancient cultures. Where It’s Found: Indigo is most famously seen in denim jeans, as well as in the petals of certain flowers like the indigofera and blue morning glories. It’s also visible in the night sky as a deep twilight hue. Colors Combined to Create It: Indigo is created by blending blue and a small amount of violet. NOTE: Indigo isn't blue, neither is it purple but the combination of both. @doubbleckrown @emmyg1841 @aweezy @favztouch @investorawesum @abubakar9799

🎨 COLOUR CHRONICLES: "Daily dose of colours"🎨 Day 4: RED ♥️ Red is one of the most vivid and captivating colors in the visible spectrum, often associated with energy, passion, love, and danger. As one of the primary colors in the additive color system (RGB), red cannot be created by mixing other colors. However, in subtractive color systems like painting, shades of red can sometimes be deepened or adjusted by blending with other colors. History and Origin The name "red" comes from the Old English word rēad, derived from the Proto-Germanic rauthaz and the Proto-Indo-European root reudh- meaning "red" or "ruddy". Colors Combined to Make Red In the additive color model, red is a primary color and cannot be created by mixing others. @doubbleckrown @aweezy @favztouch @emmyg1841 @investorawesum
