/success is built through perseverance.
My undergraduate project, a gas-detecting obstacle avoidance robot, was an incredible journey filled with ups and downs. The first month was chaotic, alots of soldering, coding, and troubleshooting. It amazed me how even the simplest components could throw a wrench in the works. There were days I felt like giving up, but the excitement of building something from scratch kept me motivated.
Slowly, the robot began to take shape. The obstacle avoidance system worked like a charm, but integrating the gas sensor was a real challenge. I spent countless hours poring over datasheets and trying out different setups. When I finally got it to detect a simulated gas leak, I felt a huge rush of pride.
Looking back, this project was about more than just creating a robot. It pushed me to my limits and taught me the importance of perseverance, teamwork, and the joy of bringing an idea to life. 0 reply
