Just PSA that it's ok to build tools to make web user's lives easier. 

I simply offered a potential solution to an already acknowledged problem of not being able to SIWF without a phone on web. The fact that "most farcaster users are on mobile" is irrelevant to that.

I think our web app is pretty good. :)

1. Having people import a seed phrase into an untrusted Chrome extension is bad security.

2. We'd like to figure out a way to make web SIWF smoother / not require a phone, but it's a bunch of work and relative to all of our other priorities—and since 85% of usage is mobile—probably not worth prioritizing right now.

Ah. imo, SIWF using the ECDSA was the original sin that should be rectified. The signers authorize users actions (ie. casts, likes, frame-actions).
SIWF is just another user action that a signer should be able to authorize.

Also, I could envision services being picky about which signers are allowed to be used w/SIWF.

When you do tackle making SIWF smoother, I hope it involves using the signers (app key) instead of the ECDSA key. It would allow any app to perform the authentication, not just the one holding the ECDSA.
