Updated the 2020 article about building an elliptic curve library from scratch. We need more implementations, in different languages. It’s really easy. Check it out: https://paulmillr.com/posts/noble-secp256k1-fast-ecc/

Built on the Holepunch/Pear protocol suite https://docs.pears.com/ Holepunch is the company and Keet is an example app. All of the components are open source https://github.com/holepunchto/ They’ve got some kind of long term crypto funding that’s been supporting all this. Originally Dat Protocol

Nope, just follow their public writing and what we focused on at Fission was complementary. I believe we need to encrypt all data, including at rest. Tailscale’s approach is to build new, encrypted pipes. From July this year, The New Internet https://tailscale.com/blog/new-internet

Other things to look at is Tailscale, who literally state they are building a new Internet, through their encrypted overlay networks A return to hardware / bare metal. Heterogenous compute. It’s not quite optical networking but definitely a bunch of changes.

Because on-chain doesn’t make sense for messaging. It also doesn’t improve onboarding — you still have to bring someone into an on chain app to use XMTP. It’s either high value comms — competition is acutely secure like Signal. Or it’s low value, where protocol overhead doesn’t make sense.

Thanks Mike. Yep I like Clerky for the simple formation part. Need a lawyer to represent the company to make proper token warrants.

Recommendation for US based lawyer for company formation and first raise of SAFE + token warrants? Literally for a friend 😀 - I mostly know Canadian lawyers.
