I've noticed a behavior among myself and my friends—we use Find My Friends almost like a social network - keep in touch with what friends are up to. Friends will say things to me like "oh yeah I saw you at that restaurant on find my, how was it?"

Does anyone else do this too?

Isn’t this a built in feature of Snapchat?

And the olds (me) used to do this more with Foursquare / Swarm

I absolutely don’t do it with Find My. Feels interesting for limited access for conferences.

it is in snapchat somewhat but idk maybe it's just my friend group, no one uses it for that

what did you like most about foursquare or swarm?

Everything from chance meetings of “people I know from the Internet” while traveling to an opportunity to connect with people around revealed interests in a different way. 

eg foodie, craft beer, dog park, skiing 

Also good personal prompts. Check in and say what? Take a pic of what?
