Not a founder, not Henri, but the market moves fast (news hits frequently, lots of things feel urgent) and slow (changes in the space often take years to evolve). Important to know where you want to go in the long term and if keeping up with everything is actively helping shape that vision, keep up. If it’s not _meaningfully_ changing priors, tune out and keep your head down building.

My favorite game to play with dev tooling is “why the heck is it that way?” It’s usually a nice even split of: 1. Some insane edge case I’m not thinking of because my needs are simpler 2. Stuck because of a decision a year ago 3. Actual bad design And (2) is usually just barrel-aged (3)

Taking todo list app recommendations: - Must be beautiful - Must be a Mac app - Ideally has "share to <todolist>" support when I'm in Slack or some other quick save feature

Van Leeuwen in person can be pretty good. Pints are iffy - I find corner stores mess up and the texture is off (I feel this is common among higher quality ice cream in general though). Basic flavors I enjoy, but generally haven't been wow'd by rotating flavors. Salt & Straw is a similar, but better concept

For context, the airtrain stops at the parking garage in Terminal A so you either walk 10-15m or you take a bus, and then the airtrain is also under renovations, so you have to switch to a different airtrain for one stop. And 30m headway heavy rail is the only way to get to the airport (next time I’m just taking the express bus)
