Reading through an identity classic from nearly 20 years ago (there are so many great excerpts from this!) https://www.identityblog.com/?p=352

If you'd like to jump on a call to swap notes, that would be my pleasure. But no worries if you're up to your eyeballs.

I love the extract you highlight here @boop. Unfortunately, by my analysis, the laws have not stood the test of time. I first published an explanation five years ago here: https://philipsheldrake.com/2019/09/generative-identity-beyond-self-sovereignty/

Man, I'm so glad the brains at Privy are into this context ↑ Designing for this plurality from the get-go means we end up with robust, well rounded systems - not "winner take all" attempts that then inevitably fail (as per essay) but wreak incredible carnage within the delicate ecosystem along the way. I came by your account via @henri reference, nice to meet you @boop - love your and the teams work at /privy. Very important abstraction in my system toolkit. πŸ™‡πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
