Dune: Part 2 (2024). The first installment of Denis Villeneuve's "Dune" was a real inspiration for some and a terrible disappointment for others. Nevertheless, all viewers agreed that the movie ended halfway through and clearly requires a sequel. Fortunately, the box office receipts of "Dune" allowed the producers to give the sequel the "green light". The upcoming picture will focus on the fate of Paul Atreides (Timothy Chalamet), as well as his relationship with Chani (Zendaya). In addition, the second "Dune" is expected to feature new, iconic characters for the literary source material, such as Princess Irulan Corrino (Florence Pugh), Shaddam IV (Christopher Walken), Feyd-Rauta Harkonnen (Austin Butler). And, of course, what's "Dune" without giant worms. We can only hope that Villeneuve's new project will be able to add dynamics and fantastic action to the story, which the first part lacked.
