British Athletics has experienced a significant reduction in funding, leading to decreased financial support for athletes from the national governing body. A year ago, this news would have caused me considerable anxiety, and I can imagine many other athletes are feeling the same way. However, after developing on-chain solutions and working on Farcaster, I’ve earned more in four months than I typically would receive in a year of Olympic funding, all while being able to train full-time. This is a genuine real-life application! In 2025, I’m committed to bringing more athletes into the on-chain space.
