i have to admit im super confused. what is this, 9/11? what terrible things are people worried about?

Anything he might do pales in comparison to his autocratic views no longer being constrained by the adults in the room.

I don't think he would find any shame in weaponizing the DOJ against journalists, replacing federal workers with partisan loyalists via schedule f, and doing anything he can get away with to compromise elections in his favor and seize more power for his group.

Who knows how far he could get with any of this or if he'll actually attempt it in a second term, but the fact that it's on the table at all is terrifying.  Even a 10% chance is obscenely high.
