If you wanted to get really crazy you could do quadratic tipping We've already talked about accumulating allowances over a 2-7 day window, so what if repeat tips to the same account within that time window were also applied quadratically, ie every unit tipped after the first unit eats 2n-1 marginal units of allowance

Hmm. Wouldn't this blow out the 4.5m degen daily budget, though? Where's the extra going to come from for retroactively boosting older tips?

Ahh, I understood this backwards. It's actually taking tips away from people who've been tipped more than once by the same person. I think that would discourage farming/reciprocal tipping, yeah, but it would also make it much more difficult for people to figure out how much they are actually tipping. And it would be sad for some folks that like to tip people who need more attention more than once a week (some artists make more than one good piece a week!!).
