I have to do something creative every day or I will sink into depression or anxiety. At least, that’s what has happened when things out of my control kept me too busy to spend time creating for a while. Creating art is where my joy lies, where my healing is, and where I find peace in this often frustrating and stressful life. The process of creating art is something I can direct, control and curate without anyone else’s requirements or expectations, but I can also share the outcome and connect with others in a visceral way, which is its own type of joy. I simply NEED to create art.

"Creating art is where my joy lies, where my healing is, and where I find peace in this often frustrating and stressful life.". This is so profound. How long have you been creating with intent & purpose now?

I can relate to this because I feel the same when I'm on a court or a field competing in a sport. When I step inside, the world fades away behind me and my brain just goes into another dimension where all it has to do is be in the moment. I long for that all week long.
