I think it's time to do a little introduction.

My name is Mikko, and I am from Finland. I love capturing minimalistic landscape photographs that provoke emotions. I have been a photographer for the past 16 years. With my photography, my goal is to transport you to a world that is timeless, peaceful, and beautiful and connect you back to nature, reminding you of what it feels like to be alive and what it feels like to be human.

I love your glimpses of the amazing landscapes of Finland! 

I am 1/16th Finnish (my great-grandfather was from there) and have always put it on my list to travel there to learn more about my roots. It makes me happy to look at your work knowing where it is coming from!

Your work is beautiful, is a wonderful use of scale, has a feeling of both softness and hardness at the same time, and always has details that draw one in. And, your skill with color grading has always impressed me!
