State Street teams up with Galaxy, eyeing new ETFs beyond Bitcoin State Street believes the “next level of growth” will come from investment options offering more than “pure spot” Bitcoin. Asset manager State Street Global Advisors has partnered with the crypto investment firm Galaxy Digital to launch new exchange-traded funds that provide exposure to digital assets. In separate statements, the two investment firms have hinted that these ETFs would expand “beyond” spot Bitcoin “Institutional and retail interest in digital assets has surged since the introduction of spot Bitcoin ETFs. However, investors are also seeking exposure to this growing asset class through investment options beyond pure spot bitcoin,” the $4.1 trillion asset manager State Street said in a June 26 statement

Paradigm releases production-ready Ethereum execution client Reth 1.0 Crypto venture firm Paradigm has rolled out its first production-ready Ethereum execution client developed in Rust, named Reth 1.0. The client will focus on delivering a stable Ethereum mainnet node and aims for high throughput performance in terms of RPC, synchronization and storage capacity. "After almost two years of development and a successful audit by Sigma Prime, we are finally releasing Reth 1.0, the first “prod-ready” release of our blazing-fast Ethereum execution client. We invite RPC providers and stakers to run Reth," Georgios Konstantopoulos, chief technology officer at Paradigm, said. An execution client is a software application that connects to the Ethereum network and executes the rules of the network. Being a production-ready client software means that Reth 1.0 is ready for use by developers or stakers in their production environments, where it will handle live transactions and operations.
