Trying to learn more about how everyone interacts with frames. Would you be interested in triggering frames without needing an action (like cast or composer)? If so, why? Also, I'd love to hear what’s working and what’s not with the current interaction patterns.

I can imagine most frame power users have up to 3-5 frames they use daily. Maybe between the Bookmarks and Warps buttons in the side menu there can be a Frames page that lets users set a few URLs to render as frames? I’ve emulated this behavior with bookmarks for degen allocation frames, but would have to dig through other bookmarks. Worked pretty well as I finally had a static place to find and use a frame I found useful, instead of having to hope it showed up on the feed again.

The vast majority of frames will be ones that read/write data externally based on the context provided by the FC app, not performing any action on the FC app itself at all. I was critical of frames at the start because most didn't make sense in the context of a cast. You either want to enhance casting (polls, gifs). Add a call to action (mint, subscribe) Or just read/write data related to context (check balance, play a game, bookmark, tag, etc.)

Having context around channel selection in a compose action would be great. Imagecast allpws for channel specific background images. When using the composer action, unless the cast is a reply the action has no inside in to which channel, if any, the user has selected. It could get weird eg the user sets a channel, uses composer action, and toggles channel again. Would be a nice extra feature though.

Implementing on-chain transaction frames, for example, Farcaster creators sharing on-chain transactions, Farcaster users can directly click on the frame to view transaction details and execute on-chain transactions through the frame.
