Recognizing Local Heroes at Bless Skateshop 🔴 Last week I had the opportunity to give a free haircut to a great friend from our neighborhood, Mr. Bahia. He has been living in a vulnerable situation for over 10 years, but remains a beloved and respected figure here in Santana. Life teaches us that sometimes the people we least expect are the ones who can help us the most. Bahia is exactly that person - he was instrumental in the improvements we made to enhance the skateboarding space at Praça Margarida de Menezes. He immediately embraced the nounish spirit, as you can see in the photos with the red Noggles! It was a pleasure to give something simple back to someone who has done so much for our community. At Bless, we believe everyone has value and can contribute, regardless of their situation.
