Today, we are thrilled to present his very first blackprint artist edition with the series "Der Theatral - Untitled Overpaintings," comprising 17 unique phygital works.

This series is based on two negative glass plates from the same batch as those used for our inaugural Blackprint Edition, "Nu Évanouissant."

Daniel Rojatz, an Austrian photographer and artist, focuses on abstract compositions and intricate works inspired by old photographs, poster fragments, and found objects shaped by time. His 'overpainting' technique, akin to calligraphy, emphasizes transformation over representation, aiming to transcend documentation and create something entirely new from what has been seen and found.
