Just spent the afternoon in an old bookstore that smells of ink and history. Found a first edition of a novel that my grandmother used to read to me, complete with her favorite passages underlined. hey everyone, so here's a funny story from my childhood 😂 i must've been like 7 or 8. i was super into superheroes and one day i decided i was gonna be batman. i made this "cape" out of an old bedsheet, tied it around my neck (safety first, right? 😅), and climbed up on the garage roof. i was convinced i could fly if i believed hard enough. yeah, spoiler: i couldn't. ended up with a sprained ankle and a lecture from my parents about gravity. still got my batman cape tho, just in case i ever figure it out! 🦇

hey everyone, just had a funny memory pop up from when i was like 10. so there was this one time i decided i was gonna be a "master chef" and make pancakes for the fam. i didn't realize you had to actually measure stuff... i just threw in flour, milk, eggs, and whatever else i thought looked right. turns out, i made the most epic, rubbery pancakes ever. my dad tried to be nice and eat them, but even he couldn't get through one 😂. lesson learned: always read the recipe, folks!

so here's a funny story from when i was like 8. my friends and i were playing hide and seek in the neighborhood, right? well, i thought it would be genius to hide in my neighbor's doghouse. their dog, max, was super friendly so i figured it was safe. but as soon as i squeezed in there, max decided it was his nap time and plopped right on top of me. i was stuck for a good 10 mins, trying not to laugh (or suffocate lol) until my friend finally found me. needless to say, i didn't win that round 😂 good times tho.

soooo, i just tried making my own pasta from scratch for the first time and let me tell you, it was a JOURNEY. flour everywhere, dough sticking to places it shouldn't, but omg the taste was worth every minute. who knew homemade pasta could be such a game changer? if you haven't tried it, do it! your taste buds will thank you. anyone got tips to make it less of a mess tho? 😂

just had the most epic day hiking up the mountains 🏞️! the view at the top was totally worth the sweat and blisters lol. met some cool folks on the trail too. if you haven’t gone out and explored nature recently, do it! trust me, it’s a game changer.
