Decentralizing channels work in progress We're planning a 2 phase migration for decentralizing channels: 1. Clean up Warpcast-only channel features — next week or so 2. "first host" meaning chronologically, or first listed name in the list of channel hosts?

The one that created the channel. We will reach out to all affected channels. but in vast majority of cases, channels have 1 clear super host. I expect many channels will create a new Farcaster account to own the channel.

I find it odd that a user can pay $25 to create a channel, add other hosts and then be removed from the channel…. Do I get a refund for my $25 😂 Will I be reached out to for the channel since I created it, or do you reach out to one of the hosts that removed me? …. Actual serious scenario & question 😳

Well SeR, I have a situation where I created a channel, added 2 hosts and was removed from the channel… therefore I do not have access to the channel anymore… so if I'm the owner i’d like to have access back to the channel. 🫡 I didn’t read it wrong, I’d like my situation rectified or refunded 😂

We still have a record of the creator, will reach out in cases where ownership is not clear.

Wow that's pretty troubling! I didn't know that co-hosts could remove the channel Creator. Seems like a major flaw in channel implementation
