Update: 40% of the way into "Bad Therapy" and Abigail raises issues with "Body Keeps the Score". Been raising compelling issues with the popular "trauma, trauma, trauma..." pov for a while now.

As a child/teen therapist this book is definitely on my list. My understanding is that if we over focus on pathologizing, therapy can reinforce those narratives (similar to what you see on social media). However, therapy can also challenge negative thought patterns, help problem solve, build healthy relationships etc
