HER BROKEN MIND 

In streets of stone, she walks alone
A soul forsaken, without a home
Her heart, a flame, that once burned bright
Now flickers dim, in endless night

Her eyes, once pools of shining light
Now dimly gaze, through tears and fright
Her smile, a rare and fading ray
A beauty lost, in a world of gray

She searches for a gentle hand
A love that understands, a heart that stands
But finds instead, a world of pain
A rejection that cuts like a knife in vain

Her voice, a whisper, barely heard
A cry for help, in a world that's blurred
Her dreams, a distant, fading shore
A hope that's lost, forever more

In this dark world, she's forced to roam
A stranger, in a place called home
Her heart, a heavy burden bears
A weight that's crushing, through all her years

But still she holds, on to her pride
A glimmer of strength, deep inside
A spark that glows, in the dark of night
A light that guides, through the darkest plight
