Did a bunch of random stuff today: Renewed SSL for 5 of our wildcard domains for free using letsEncrypt(Certbot) and took it a step further by setting up a cron job for automatic renewals every 3 months ..somehow saving the startup some costs in the process 🙂‍↔️

Building distributed systems? Here is a tip:each machine has its own clock, and they will never be perfectly synchronized. Relying on timestamps across machines can lead to inconsistent states and weird bugs.(use logical clocks)
