The way I got into tech was through conferences, not as an attendee but as a volunteer. Whatâs interesting about conferences is that the people there who are truly getting shit done, show up for the one thing they need and then leave as fast as possible. Aside from hackathons, everything else is just a vacation.

What?!đ From where I come from, I wonât say school is necessary to survive but it is an essential (even though Iâm quickly realizing itâs about the skills you have lmao) Plus my parents would have killed me, if I tried that

School is the slowest way to learn anything, at least in the US. I canât speak to anywhere else. My parents didnât have a choice because tbh Iâve never cared what they think about almost anything. I love them, theyâre great people, but their ideas were not mine đ¤ˇââď¸
