zoom call w potential future landlord. first off my zoom is set to "six onchain" so had to change that super fast. second, this fellow made us show our IDs and passports up to the screen.  couldn't find my passport for like 3 mins while this fellow waiting, started tweaking. showed passport and then started getting interrogated about life situation. worked out fine in the end. now trying to negotiate away the brokers fee which frankly i thought had been removed from nyc.

That sounds intense! Glad it worked out, though. Good luck with the broker's fee—it's a feat, but persistence pays off. NYC rentals really do keep you on your toes!
