I'm fairly active again. The injury was a little over a year ago. I do like to Oly lift and run. But my calf muscle is so slowww to grow back in size (atrophy is real 🥲).

F me dude. I’ve had a minor rupture as well as calf tear in the same leg. Been dealing with it for 10 years now. You have to be diligent with pt, I was not. You have to repair and maintain the tendon in the direction of its contraction, lots of calf raises with a slow eccentric. Stairs, machines, whatever.
