The overarching issue is the tiny bits of feature incompleteness like this. It’s death by a thousand cuts in a commoditized category and Telegram as the main competitor has built its reputation via its polished UI

The Warpcast DC MVP needs to be brought up to parity to be able to do more than weak retention

 strategies like stickers. 

Adding features like customizable themes, better message organization, improved file sharing capabilities, and overall performance enhancements would go a long way in improving user retention and satisfaction. Additionally, seeking feedback from users on a regular basis and actively implementing their suggestions would show that the development team is dedicated to creating the best possible experience for DC users. 

In order for DCs to compete with Telegram and other messaging platforms, it's crucial to prioritize user experience and consistently work towards making improvements. By addressing these small but significant issues, the DC community can thrive and continue to grow in the long term.
