web2 business model: 1. leverage UGC combined with recommendation algorithms to capture user attention for as long as possible 2. sell adspace 3. pay creators a portion of this ideal web3 business model: 1. creators leverage direct monetization through NFTs/tokens 2. algo optimizes for creators to sell as much as possible (hopefully this means there is an incentive for high quality content?) 3. platform takes a small cut on all creator sales and is aligned with creators has this been tried? there might be flaws i'm not seeing through a simplistic outline
