even if Biden gets out of the dem’s way, I do not see a world where the dems produce any viable character/candidate to sufficiently match the freak of Trump with all that has been gifted him by the universe this year even a Hail Mary of Dwayne Johnson—probably their best chance—has a 99.999999999% failure rate

In my eyes, the only winning strategy that Dems would have against Trump was endorsing a candidate who was just as insane/extreme as he is, fight fire with fire. Choosing someone safe and boring like Biden may have worked in the short term but ultimately failed long term.

Social media != Real life tho, I learned this the painful way back in 2008 with Ron Paul. If **Biden** is at a 10-19% chance as per Silver's prediction model, as diminished as Biden is, then a good Dem candidate would have a 50/50, easy. They are both, still, comically unpopular.

Yep. I voted for Biden. But he’s been an utter disappointment. I like RFK but he’s an old school democrat like me and doesn’t have a chance. The party has gone stupid. And there is no good option. No Bill Clinton. No Obama. No vision. Just a bunch of people bitching about Trump.
