But it is us, who can be evil and bad, technology is itself still a tool and we are the ones that wield it - so what do we do?

Heidegger’s view would be (roughly) that there are no neutral solutions because Dasein is shaped by the tools that allow us to reveal Being. So technology can’t be neutral because it’s an active process of revealing always moving in a direction (authentic/inauthentic).
