This was actually very sad and only confirmed by the shitty 10 sec tribute on the oscars ): I was so hyped about his new series since the begging of the pandemics but Hollywood totally killed it

🎯 Sad, but true. 

I always wondered why Lynch never went the self funding route. He had enough of a dedicated and passionate audience that could more than likely allowed him to reach his target budget.

Lynch was pretty much the first well known artist to start a subscription site all the way back in 2000/01. Took the internet years to normalize that approach, but as in many things, he was ahead of his time.
