genuinely trying to understand - what's to discuss? they're pretty clear about handling bots (some $$$ to stem the massive tide, filter the bots that pay, focusing on user defaults vs power user tools) they share DAU #s and get slammed regularly if they shared a qDAU # too they'd also get slammed about defining it?

i've been following along and while getting unfollowed by @dwr.eth and @v is def an emotional event, i also think that nobody is obligated to engage with anyone on the internet (including the founders of social apps) full disclosure i did an outcaster w @ghostlinkz.eth and @geoffgolberg and I have DMed a bit

It’s infuriating the DAU argument because the simple answer is to come up with a good definition yourself. We’d all happily adopt it but it’s either good enough or not relevant enough to care day to day. As for the ghostlink @dwr.eth and @v unfollowing I understand how devastating that can be and sympathize.
