Based on docs, the most straightforward on Base (and other chains) looks like API3's QRNG. https://docs.api3.org/reference/qrng/ I like that you're just paying gas costs and it's just ETH. Chainlink appears to have some new subscription payment model which could simplify things, but it's all still paid with LINK.

My fam’s strategy is a big drawer in the kitchen that we lovingly call “the hell drawer” that contains all little things we aren’t sure where to put but need to go somewhere. If you can’t find something, it’s probably in the hell drawer.
