The Jam apps for iOS and Android now include:
- Login with Farcaster
- Cast
- Cast with photos 
- Cast with GIFs!
- Longcast with up to... longcast.jam.so/jjIT58

With Jam you are longer constrained to 300 characters or 320 bytes.

Cast up to 4000 characters with longcasts on Jam!

When creating a cast or reply on Jam, you can just keep typing without worry about running out of space. We’ll let you know when your cast transitions from standard cast... longcast.jam.so/jjJr8W

The new For You tab on Jam is designed to help you get the most relevant casts based on your engagements and interests.

For You is currently sync’d with Warpcast follows. As you follow people on WC, they’ll get added to your For You.

But For You is also learning. As you like, cast,... longcast.jam.so/jj3Oc4

Jam search gives you Farcaster superpowers!

Search for topics and people

Narrow and refine your search to date ranges and engagements such as most liked, replied, recasted 

Our AI also helps you find related casts and people based on your search term 

We’ll add sign in with ethereum soon as an option 

There will be no “following” on Jam

Instead, For You will provide a feed that learns what you like every time you engage on jam, and across apps on Farcaster protocol 

You’ll have full control over your For You feed - it’s your feed, your algo

There's a few reasons here:

Every time you login with FC, it creates a new signer key. You can have a max of 100 signer keys. 101st signer key will delete the first signer key and all casts/reactions from that key. So we need a user account we can rely on permanently outside of the FC login.... longcast.jam.so/jji8lC

My only complaint is that it still requires me to sign in with google, any way that  can be removed or is to core to the flow?

We have to have a login outside of Farcaster rn. No other way for it to work with FClogin current version. 

We went with google or Apple as options to start as they are universal. We’ll add Ethereum option soon.

Why does it require an Apple or Google account though?
