when you LP you have to add both sides of the trade, not just the one

yes, I understand, my assumption 3500$ deposit is value of the pair!

I deposited into LP few times only, and I remember there's a setting to prevent permanent loss by specifying the boundaries of the ratio or price, but then you won't get the same % I assume
