yup 100 % web3 is generally the term used by late comers who tried to co opt what has already been built in crypto hate to simplify it like that cause many simply dont know the etymology here but thats how much ogs view it

It's unfortunate the term `web3` is tainted by the grifts from previous cycle. It was my choice because web 1 (read) -> web 2 (write) -> web 3 (own) as you've mentioned. But, I think `onchain` is the best choice for now. Not really a fan of `crypto` cause it just make me think of cryptography and that feels limiting.

I like onchain. It gives me β€œdefinitive” vibes; β€œverifiable” vibes.

I like to call it crypto unless I’m like trying to impress someone. Then it’s β€œfintech”
