Is the FC community today more tolerant and open to dissenting opinions than birdapp, or more intellectually homogenous and less prone to disagreement?

Very productive for community but not very exciting for crackpot rabbit holes and fringe-knowledge

definitely more intellectually homogenous! 

we're all more or less actively building or fostering things in crypto which is 100% of the appeal! 

but also which puts you in a a very niche skill/interests/financial comfort + education bucket

I think we're lacking the supporting structures / protocols for strong debates so we're treading carefully at the moment to avoid pissing in the pool.

Bit of both, add do that, 1. stakes are lower: less eyeballs, smaller reach, just less of a chance to have something negative go wide, 2. There aren’t a bunch of people or organizations intentionally provoking / stirring the pot.
