Still TBD. On chain targeting is part (aka - far more personalized). Tokenized loyalty rewards and community cultivation will play a central role.

Not necessarily. On public blockchains user data is wide open for siphoning, you can get even better data from web3. This is why privacy preserving chains are the right path forward.

I think targeted on-chain advertising is likely a heartbeat away. But I think it is THE aspect of Web2 users expect/want to change the most. Marketers and platforms continue to abuse advertising in Web2 creating more ad backlash.
