Watching your mother slowly fade away is surreal. A once vibrant body slowly becoming a corpse. Her spirit is still strong and she shines through in moments she has energy, which are less and less. I’ve been afk spending as much time as possible with her. She’s only 67 so it was somewhat unexpected to come to this.

Lost my mom when she was 48. Enjoy & cherish those bright moments you have, however few and far between they become. It's difficult, man. There's nothing to say besides my DMs are open if you need to vent.

Sorry to hear this, I watched my grandma waste away at the age of 17 from a well fed woman to literally skeletal child that you could pick up. I'm now 40 and it still haunts me to this day. Miss her dearly as she was only 56 iirc at the time.

I was in the same situation 7 months ago. My mother passed away in her own home, surrounded by us, her children. I completely understand what you're going through. It's a hard situation, but please try to stay strong, my friend. Parents are truly irreplaceable and now, I’ve lost both of mine. I'm keeping your mother in my prayers.🤍
