What’s the saddest anime show/ movie you’ve ever watched? I just rewatched some scenes from Hotaru No Haka (Grave of the Fireflies) and cried my eyeballs out. I forgot that Ghibli has also made some sad but very beautiful films like this in the past. Isn’t it crazy that this is exactly what’s happening to the kids at Palestine right now! What an unfair world we live in. 🖤

I'm sorry Rakshita is not very related to your cast but the image of the girl with candy reminded me of the story of how candies and castella came in Japan. I wrote about it a year ago, today those candies don't exist anymore :(. I always wanted to buy one of these, too bad I’ll probably never get to taste them. But isn’t it crazy how deep of an impact good storytelling and art has on culture? 🫠
