at one time, i found more joy in cooking if others enjoyed the meal i’d prepared, especially when i'd put in a lot of effort. cooking is my love language. now, though, i absolutely love my own cooking - i could happily eat the same thing for dinner, lunch, and then dinner again. home-cooked meals for the win!
