If someone makes Warpcaster 2, where they generate lots of revenue using creative work of publishers who  used Warpcaster, like videos and images, what in Farcaster or Warpcaster prevents publishers from suing Warpcaster 2 for a cut?

Basically, what is the role of licenses in a multi-client protocol?

Analogies are great for working this stuff out.

What bothers me is that it ultimately rests on what laws in different countries say, which sucks for protocol builders to have to think of.

We’re thinking about this now for mainnet release. Two questions I’m thinking about:

How does that work for the web with search results?

How does it work with Ethereum?
