as someone who straight up asked @dwr.eth for a job once and regularly gets tagged in “hire ted” casts or DCs

i’m 10000% aligned with his take on focusing on product and not marketing for growth

in fact, my POV is that it would be dumb AF to hire a marketing team right now

what would they do? what would i do?

last cycle Cardano(no mainnet, no apps) hired McCann Dublin (Microsoft etc.) which played a part in rocketing them from a 1b to 100b! market cap. i appreciate the sentiment but it can make a huge difference in the right conditions. even now my normie friends ask about cardano way more than ethereum.

I bet your real-life job has been related to audiovisual or marketing at some point, hasn’t it? It's so clear who understands the importance of this and who doesn't. 
Every product needs marketing, no matter the circumstances. Look at huge brands like Coca-Cola and Apple—they keep advertising even though they technically don’t need to anymore.
