The Based Institute was created to study What It Mean To Be Based, the origins of the Base God, and other early Base cultures.

2/ We’re excited to expand our understanding of What It Means To Be Based, starting with a grants program to hear from you. Share a post in /based on Farcaster that starts with “based is “ to earn your share of 1 ETH. 

We want to hear from you in any format — art, writing, music, or any other way you want!

Based is community, education, building and experimentation.   It applies to all areas of life, creativity and technology.

Based is so much more than memecoins.  It can be the home for frictionless trading of nfts, with low gas but the eth native platform that degens are after.  This cycle will pivot at some stage back to overpriced JPEG’s!
