<1940s: scarce but nourishing food
~1950-1990: abundant and nourishing food (depletion period)
~1990-present: abundant but depleted food

Next phase will have supply shocks of depleted food

The best move is to rotate back into nourishing foods by going local

power to local farms yes, I’ve been thinking about grocery situation and the fact we have so many grocery shops and in them 95% of products we’d never buy if not for marketing otherwise

we as humans can live off only farmer market products and be much healthier

then think about how easy it is to buy local artisanal cookies, bread, beer etc from passionate people/families/small businesses - not easy
