uniting together under a nation may not make any sense anymore, I've lived long term in 3 different countries already and don't feel like belonging in any of them

but I feel like I belong here with builders, being based

what's interesting is that with enough agency we can spin up our own nation(s) and unite the world in a more meaningful way

now we're seeing people shuffle and in a decade we may see ppl in most modern countries orignally coming from 100+ other nations to now live together on the same territory

it also increasingly gets easier to move out to another country if you don't like the nation you're under right now

onchain can be a way to unite us all on earth and beyond

the way I see it is that ppl around the world secured borders, got to power, forced everyone within the borders to learn the language and obey the laws they write and pay taxes with that

this is the root of most of the wars, discrimination and in general issues for human life, health and prosperity

Hard agree on the fading importance of nationalism and the lost sense of belonging in any specific country (at least as they exist today). 

This is exactly why I’m interested in the network state — nationality is not so relevant when you might consume completely different media and hold different beliefs from your next door neighbor but share those values with others who may live across the world.
